The main provisions of the government decree no. 240/2020 (V.27.) on next phase of protection measures in Budapest

• Present government decree shall be applied for the territory of Budapest.

• It is allowed to stay, eat and drink inside of a catering shop including in particular restaurant, coffee shop, bakery, buffet.

• Inside of a catering shop, employees are required to cover his/her mouth and nose with mask, scarf or shawl – at those places which may be visited by customers – and keep at least 1,5-meter distance.

• Accommodation service providers under the Act on Commerce may host guests and guests are allowed to stay there.

• The rules applicable to catering shops shall be applied for the catering premises operated at the accommodation.

• This decree enters into force on 29 May 2020.
